ICAME 2001 - Louvain-La-Neuve |

This year's excursion took us to Bruges, a picturesque Belgian town not far away
from the sea. The weather was pretty cold but at least it didn't rain - as you can see some of us were prepared - others forgot to bring their coats and felt much better
when we got to the restaurant for dinner...

After dinner, last year's organiser Pam Peters thanked Silviane Granger and her team on the part of all conference participants for a very well organised conference. Then, people were invited to try out the dance floor. Apparently, Silviane had suggested a list of music titles to the DJ - who was sure, after a brief look at the conference participants, that this selection wouldn't go down well with that kind of a crowd. Well, as you can see in the following pictures, he was quite wrong...

| The ICAME crowd definitely enjoying the music | Silviane Granger, Knut Hofland and Christopher Tribble | Bernhard Kettemann and Inge de Monnink |
Some pictures from "the day after" - after my endless photo terrorism (as
one person put it), someone insisted on taking a picture of me, too. So in the interest
of fairplay, here it is ;-)

Finally, after all the social events, here are some pictures from the auditorium where many of the presentations took place:

I hope to see you all next year in Gothenburg!
